  • Easter Egg Hunt

    The Easter Egg hunt is an event for children of all ages. This well-attended event is held during a low tide on the Community Beach around Easter.
  • Shorewood's Streets of Garage Sales

    Shorewood's Streets of Garage Sales garagesale.jpgAnnually, over fifty households, more if you count the neighbors and families who combined, were able to turn their "trash" into cash participating in the Streets of Garage Sales. Hundreds, if not over a thousand people, came into our community searching for treasures among our wares. Many did not go away empty handed. We can do even better this year!
  • Public Meeting Burien Community Center

  • SummerFest Block Party

    Food, Music, Face Painting, Kid Activities, FUN! Everyone is welcome!! On Marine View Drive just north of the intersection with 26th Ave SW.
  • SalmonBake

    Make it a date to come to the Salmon Bake this won't regret the few hours you spend on YOUR beach with friends and family. No need to RSVP....just show up hungry. A limited selection of drinks are provided. You are welcome to bring your own "barley pop" or "grape juice" to enjoy with the delicious meal.
  • CommunityFest

    We are updating this event. SOTSCC teams with community organizations to co-sponsor a Summer/Fall event with kid activities, games, music, and food.
  • Candidate Forum - Candidate Night

    This event is held during the fall of election years only. Usually two weeks prior to election day.
  • SOTSCC Annual Meeting

    The SOTSCC Annual meeting location is at Shorewood Elementary School.
  • Christmas Home Decorating Contest

    Bringing to your attention the best and least tasteful displays of illuminating holiday cheer within our neighborhood.:
  • Monthly Board Meeting

    The SOTS Board of Directors normally meets once each month at the home of one of the Board Members. Board Meetings 2nd Thursday of the month Jan – Oct – changing locations ( contact Angelica Spates, President 206-769-0889 for details ). Special meetings are called from time to time, as needed. There are usually no Board meetings in the months of August and December. Everyone is welcome to attend, but if you would like to come please contact Angelica Spates, President 206-769-0889 to let her know beforehand. We need to be sure that we have enough chairs for everyone.
  • Cove Tour - Stream Restoration

    Andy Batcho will meet our Shorewood Community Club group on the deck of the Cove at 10AM, Saturday, March 22nd to take everyone interested on a tour of the Cove restoration projects. If Staci has the building rented that day, he will meet everyone in the parking lot near the tennis courts and the tour will leave from there. We will be walking about 1/2 – mile. Some raised wooden walkways and dirt trails could be a little slippery so wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather. Some people may like to bring a walking stick.
  • Shorewood Elementary PTA Holiday Bazaar

    The Shorewood Elementary PTA Holiday Bazaar is being held on Saturday, November 14th from 10 am–4 pm at Shorewood Elementary School. The Bazaar is a long-standing community event with a strong following. This event not only features over 65 artist vendors, but it is so much more! - Used Book Sale (a buck a book) - Food trucks - Bake Sale - Raffle - Santa Photos (for a small donation) - And admission is FREE
